I have been visiting
Louisiana regularly since the mid 1980Ős, enjoying its landscape, people and
wildlife. These photographs were taken during the past two years.
Traveling the Bayou
just before the storm, I focused on the aging architecture and constant erosion of the
coastline. Then, following Hurricane Katrina and its terrible cost to the city
of New Orleans, I returned, working exclusively in the Lower Ninth Ward.
I will be returning to camp and explore in the future, watching the recovery and change, once again.
